Preview Output lite -- data size

Hello,
It would be neat if I could get a “Preview Output DataSize” option in the DWBuilder canvas that would calculate the data size but not go through the expense of loading the actual data in the UI. Often I use the data size of a transform/filter/source as sanity check and it would be cool to view it faster then waiting for the UI to load all the data.

That’s a great idea! I have discussed this with our Data Warehousing team, we will be seeing the possibility of implementing it in our future build.

If something could adorn the component blocks like in the image I think it would be the most useful

If you’re just looking for the number of records and not the data itself, you could use the “Quick Profile” command that is found right under “Preview Output”.
