Connection to on-premises Dynamics CRM 2010

I can not connect to an on-premises Dynamics CRM instance. It gives me the following error.

Provider type:
Running connectivity tests…
Attempting connection
Error opening connection.
Could not load file or assembly ‘Microsoft.IdentityModel, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I fixed the previous error and now I am stuck at the attached error.

Is your on-premises installation of Dynamics CRM configured to work on http or https?

Please make sure that the right option is checked. Also, please make sure that the server’s name that you are providing is valid.

A good test for server name check is to paste this URL (after replacing your server’s name in the URL) into a browser and see if you could see the discovery service details.
