Symptoms:

When running transfers to Microsoft Access, all records fail if a column contains image type data. After running transfer, all records fail with the following error message:

:“Error while inserting destination record. ERROR [42000]] [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft
Access Driver] Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression ‘System.Byte[]’."

Resolution:

This is a known issue with DataMapper 2008. At this time, DataMapper does not support writing to image type columns in Access. A patch for this is being worked on and it should make its way into a maintenance release in May 2008.
